So this was a while ago, but I can't get my act together to actually do a post. Anyways, my dad always gave my brothers haircuts. With 6 boys, it wasn't in the budget I suppose to take them to the barber. I remember when I was really little my dad would cut thier hair in the backyard at out house in Holladay. They would tell me if I came in the backyard, they would cut mine too. Obviously 6 brothers in my family. SO, anyways, I feel like Steve and I could cut our boys hair. Well, it is a work in progress. We will get better each time. We actually have had my dad do it sometimes if he is here or we are in SLC at haircut time. Anyways, it is a chore--and very messy. There are always lots of bribes involved. Can we keep the tradition alive?? We will try. It is hard when there is a place a few minutes away that only costs $5 for hair cuts. But it adds up.

I hear ya, and I feel like the boys need the trim SO often! I say it's worth it to keep it up though, and I don't see any pictures of screaming. :o)
We always have to have Cars playing on the Mac while we do it!
