Yes, I should be showing you all of the amazing rooms in the John Johnson home and more sites from Kirtland, but this trip was just about us being together as a family. The kids had a great time with grandma and grandpa, and they were VERY patient with them. We rented a 12 passenger van so we could all go in one car up to Kirtland....boy was it cozy!!.. Steve was so embarrassed to get in and out of that thing. I was proud and even thought I could be converted to getting one, but then after spending a few days in one, I am not!! So here are the kids enduring the tours.......I thought they did a great job. I am so proud to be their mom and I love every minute of it. Poor Jacob...he had to wear one of my hats....his got lost somewhere.....(maybe in the van)

Our hotel was just a few miles from Lake Erie. We felt like we were at the Arctic Ocean. It was realy neat to see the sand and the snow at the same time and all of the ice on Lake Erie...

I think it was like 7 degrees that morning!!!
