Jacobalooza

March post match day became a festival of Jacob. Now his birthday in April first but leading up to that we had a series of prebirthday festivities that led of to the actual day. First there was the ever present baseball. Jacob's team was the Red's (ironic now that we are only an hour from the real MLB team). He had great coaches who did a great job with the kids and part time help from parents like myself.

Our life revolved around his twice a week games and one practice. But it was great to see those little guys get a hit and get so excited they would forget to run. Our team was kind of like the bad news bears most of the time but the kids had lots of fun which is all that mattered. His team and all his little friends on there are something we definitely miss here in Ohio.

Towards the end of the month Grandma and Grandpa came and took the older three kids to Walking with Dinosaurs. Which was awesome. This kind of started of his birthday celebration festivities.

It also made us really sick of cake by the time his actual birthday came around. I voted for pie but was outvoted.
